The Nordmann Fir has a traditional Christmas tree shape with soft, non-prickly needles making it child and pet friendly. It has excellent needle retention, which means it sheds very little.

We work year-round using sustainable methods. For every tree which is cut down we plant another. We use Shropshire sheep to manage the grass & we encourage wildlife such as ladybirds for natural pest control. After Christmas the trees which are returned to us are put through our woodchipper to make compost.

Getting your tree

When you visit us, you have several options:

  1. Reserve a Tree: Ask for a numbered tag at the desk, we’ll make a note of your details then attach your tag to a tree in the field and return later to collect it.

  2. Pick and Cut: Choose a tree from the field, and we’ll cut it, net it, and bring it to your car.

  3. Freshly Cut Trees: Browse our selection of pre-cut trees.

  4. Pot Grown Trees: We also offer a small selection of pot-grown trees.

Tree Stands

We stock “The Quick Stand” which is the easiest and quickest way to display a real tree in the home. The bowl allows you to keep your tree watered. It has an anodised, rust resistant finish and is available in different sizes.

Caring for your tree

We’ll trim half an inch off the trunk when you buy your tree to help it absorb water and stay fresh. Keep the tree outside standing in water until it is required indoors. Once inside, water it daily, as Christmas trees are very thirsty. Use a stand that holds water and refill often. Keep the tree away from heat sources like radiators, and if you have underfloor heating, turn off the nearby zone or place the tree on a mat to avoid overheating.
